Sound Vision Event Organizers is tucked away at 176 Rana Singh Pet Police Road in Chickpet. If you’ve ever been to Chickpet, you know how busy and cramped it gets, but that is where all the action is. Our place is usually humming with the sound of equipment being tested. We have speakers, mixers, and miles of cable everywhere. It is a bit of a maze inside. We spend a lot of time loading and unloading trucks in the narrow street, which is always a bit of a challenge with the Bangalore traffic. We do all kinds of events, from small local gatherings to bigger functions. It’s mostly about making sure the microphones work and the speakers don't buzz. We aren't polished corporate types. We are the guys in t-shirts and jeans who show up early and leave long after everyone else has gone home. Our hands are usually dusty from handling gear. We have been doing this for a while, so we’ve seen all sorts of things go wrong at events and we just learn how to fix them on the fly. The Chickpet area is loud and crowded, but it suits us. There is always a place to get good tea or a quick snack while we work. We just focus on the gear and making sure the sound and lights are ready when they need to be. It’s hard work, but we are used to it.
