We have been sitting here in Rabrindranath Tagore Nagar 4 for quite a while now. Most people know this part of RT Nagar gets pretty busy during the evenings, but we open up early to get a head start on the repairs. Sony Ericson phones aren't as common as they used to be, but we still see plenty of them coming through the door for battery issues or screen fixes. The shop isn't anything fancy, just a couple of desks and a lot of small parts in plastic bins. Sometimes it takes a few days to find the right part for an older model, but that's just how it goes with electronics. We spend most of our day looking through magnifying glasses and trying to get those tiny screws back into place without losing them. The neighborhood has changed a lot since we first set up, with new shops opening and closing, but we’re still here in the same spot. It gets a bit dusty with the road work nearby, so we spend a lot of time wiping down the glass counters. Customers usually come in complaining about their buttons sticking or the charging port acting up after a drop. We just take the device, open it up, and see what can be done. It’s practical work, nothing too complicated to explain. We usually have the radio playing in the background while we work. It keeps things from being too quiet when there aren't many people around.
