Soni Mobile

Soni Mobile is tucked away here on Vijaya Nagar Jodhpur Cross Road 9. If you know the area, you know it gets pretty crowded around lunchtime. We’ve been operating out of this spot for a few years now. The shop isn't very big, but we manage to fit quite a bit of stuff on the shelves. Mostly, it’s just phones and accessories. We spend a lot of time talking to people who come in because they dropped their device in water or forgot their password again. It’s funny how often that happens. I usually handle the front, and my younger brother handles the more technical bits in the back room. There’s a tea stall nearby, so the smell of chai is always drifting in through the door. It’s a decent place to work. We don’t really do much advertising. People just see the sign when they’re walking to the market and stop in. Sometimes we stay open a bit later if someone is in a rush to get their phone back. The floor is a bit uneven, and the paint is peeling a little near the ceiling, but it doesn’t bother anyone. We keep a stack of old newspapers on the side table for people to read while they wait. It’s a simple life running a shop like this. We just take things one day at a time here on the cross road, making sure things get done without any extra stress.
