Sonal Wood Craft & Interior is situated at 15 Rabrindranath Tagore Nagar. We’re in the Chikkamunigangappa Layout part of V Naganahalli, which is a bit of a mouthful to say but easy to find once you’re in the area. Our shop is usually covered in a thin layer of sawdust, which is just part of the job when you’re working with wood all day. You can hear the saws running from down the street most afternoons. We do a lot of the interior work right here, measuring, cutting, and fitting things together. It’s not a clean, polished showroom; it’s a workshop where real work happens. We’ve got scraps of wood in the corners and tools spread across the benches. The layout here in V Naganahalli is mostly residential, so we have a lot of neighbors who stop by just to see what we’re making. We don’t use any big fancy words to describe what we do. We just take the wood and turn it into whatever is needed for someone’s home. Sometimes things don’t go perfectly, and we have to start a piece over, but that’s just how it goes when you’re working with your hands. We like the smell of the wood and the feeling of finishing a project. It’s a busy life here in Tagore Nagar, and we’re happy to be the ones providing a bit of craft to the neighborhood. We hope to stay here for many more years to come.
