Sonaa Engineers

Our workspace is actually inside Flat No. 6 at 4, New Fatehpura. It’s a bit unusual for an engineering setup, but it works for us. We have desks set up where the living room would be. It’s a quiet neighborhood for the most part. We do a lot of drawings and technical planning here. There are blueprints and papers scattered all over the tables. We try to keep it organized, but when we are busy, it gets a bit messy. The kitchen area is where we make our coffee and take breaks. We’ve been here for a while and the neighbors don't seem to mind us. It feels more like a home than a strict office. We have a few computers that stay on all the time. Sometimes we stay late when we have a big project to finish. We don't have a big staff, just a few people who know their stuff. We don't wear suits or anything like that. Just regular clothes. It’s a comfortable way to work. We talk through our ideas sitting around the big table in the center. The light in this flat is good during the day, which helps with the detailed work. It’s a simple setup but it’s ours. We just keep our heads down and get the engineering part right. It’s better than being in a boring glass tower.
