Our work happens out of Kamaraja Road Nagarthpet Main Road 41277. We do a lot of traditional decorating for local events and weddings. Most of our days are spent hauling around heavy fabrics, wooden frames, and crates of lights. It’s a physical job and we are usually tired by the time the sun goes down. The shop itself is packed with colorful cloths, artificial flowers, and decorative pillars. It looks like a bit of a mess to an outsider, but we have our own system for finding what we need for the next setup. We work mostly in the Nagarthpet area, but we travel around a bit too. When there's a big festival, things get really frantic and we’re working late into the night. We don't use fancy planners; we just know how to make a space look good for a party. People come to us when they have a family function and need the place to look festive. We’ve been handling these materials for years, so we know which fabrics hold up and which ones don't. Sometimes we're up on ladders for hours, and other times we’re just sitting on the floor sewing a hem that came loose. It’s simple, honest labor that helps people celebrate their big days. We just focus on the task at hand and try to stay organized amidst all the colors. It takes a lot of effort to get everything just right.
