Our place, Solakondan Stores Pvt Ltd, is situated on Sudedar Road in Parvathapuram. It’s a straightforward setup. We have been operating out of this location for some time now, and the routine hasn't changed much. Every day we come in and start by checking the stock levels. The building is solid, though the walls could probably use a fresh coat of paint if we ever found the time for it. Sudedar Road is a busy enough spot, so there’s usually something going on outside to look at. Inside, we deal with a lot of different items, and keeping them all straight takes a bit of effort. We don't use any fancy computer systems for everything; a lot of it is just written down or remembered. The staff knows where everything sits, from the stuff we sell every day to the items that sit on the back shelves for a while. It can get a bit stuffy in the afternoons, so we keep the fans going. Customers come in with their lists, and we spend our time fetching things and making sure the totals are right. It’s not a glamorous job, but it’s what we do. Parvathapuram is our home, and being on this road feels right for the business. We just keep the doors open and stay busy with whatever needs doing at the moment.
