Softhand Creations

We set up Softhand Creations here in Vibhutipura Extension a while back. It’s mostly just us working out of this space in Dodda Nekkundi. Most days start early with a lot of tea and looking over the lists of what needs doing. It’s a busy area, lots of traffic outside, but inside we just focus on the handiwork. We didn't really plan on being a big company or anything like that. We just liked making things and it sort of grew into this. The neighbors are nice, mostly families and a few other small shops. Sometimes it gets a bit dusty with all the construction nearby, but that's just how it is in this part of town. We handle a lot of different orders, some big and some small, and try not to get too overwhelmed when things get hectic. It’s a bit of a maze getting here if you don’t know the turns in the extension, but we’ve been here long enough that most the delivery guys know us by now. The desks are always covered in scraps and tools, and there’s usually a radio playing somewhere in the back. It isn't a fancy office with glass walls or anything. It’s just a practical place where we get the job done. We’ve had some long nights here, especially when a big project is due, but we usually manage. It’s just how we spend our days and pay the bills.
