Alligator Designs Pvt. Ltd. is located out in Phase-II of the Peenya Industrial Area. If you know Peenya, you know it’s mostly factories and lots of trucks moving around all the time. It’s dusty and noisy, but that is where things get made. We have our space here and we’ve been at it for some time. Designing things takes a lot of sitting and looking at screens. We aren't in a shiny glass building or anything like that. It’s a practical workspace. We have some heavy tables and a lot of sketches lying around most days. Sometimes the power goes out in the industrial area and we just have to wait it out or use the backup if it's working right. The people working here have been around for a while, so we all know how things go. It’s a long commute for some of us, but you get used to the Peenya traffic after a year or two. We don't really have a reception area, just some chairs if someone comes to visit. It’s mostly just us getting the design work done and making sure everything fits the way it should. We keep a kettle in the corner for tea. It’s a simple setup but it works for what we need to do. We just stay focused on the drawings and the specs until it's time to head home through the industrial gates.
