Sofa Factory

My brother and I started Sofa Factory a while back because we noticed people were always looking for something solid to sit on that didn't cost a fortune. We're over here at 1004/4C in the HRBR Layout, right in Basavanagar. It isn't a fancy showroom or anything. We mostly have guys working with foam and fabric all day. Usually, someone walks in, looks at a frame, and tells us what color they like. It gets pretty dusty with all the wood shavings. I spend most of my mornings checking the springs and making sure the fabric is pulled tight. Sometimes we have tea outside the shop while waiting for a delivery truck to show up. It’s a busy spot. Basavanagar is growing fast, so there's always someone moving into a new flat nearby. We don't have a big office or a front desk person. Usually, if the phone rings, I just wipe my hands and answer it myself. People ask if we can fix their old chairs too. If we have the time and the right materials, we usually say yes. It’s just how things work here. We’ve been at this address for a bit now, and the neighbors know us by the noise of the staplers. It's not glamorous work, but it fills the day. Just a local shop making furniture. We keep it simple and try to get the work done on time. It is a bit crowded inside, but that is because we have lots of projects going on at once.
