If you live near Hoskote Gangammagudi Road, you probably know where we are. Smk Provision Stores is right in the Mv Extension area. It’s a neighborhood shop, plain and simple. We wake up early to get the fresh stock in. Most of the time, the mornings are the busiest because everyone is getting ready for work or school. We have a lot of bags and jars on the shelves. Sometimes things get a bit dusty because of the road work nearby, but we try to keep it tidy. My family helps out a lot. It’s not a big supermarket, just a place where you can get your daily needs without walking too far. We know most of the people who come in by name. They ask about the weather or how the kids are doing. It feels like a small village sometimes even though we are in a busy part of the extension. We don’t have fancy displays or anything. Just the stuff people need every day. If we run out of something, we try to get it back in the next day. The shop is small, so we have to be careful how we stack the rice and the oil. It’s been our life for a long time. Gangammagudi Road is where we belong, and we don't plan on going anywhere else. We just keep the door open and wait for the regulars to stop by.
