Living and working around Banashankari Stage II means you get used to the rhythm of the city. Slv Foods is located at number 186 on 24th Cross Road, right in Siddanna Layout. It’s a busy spot, and the traffic can be a real headache in the evenings when everyone is heading home. Our building is pretty standard for this area, nothing that stands out too much from the outside. Inside, it’s mostly just rows of food products and a small area where we handle the paperwork. We spend a lot of our time checking the seals on the bags and making sure nothing was damaged during transport. The staff here is small, mostly people from the nearby blocks who can walk to work. We don’t have a fancy website or a marketing team; we just rely on the fact that we’ve been in this layout for a while now. Sometimes the power goes out in the afternoon, and we just have to sit tight until it comes back on, which gives us a chance to catch up on some tea. The floors are concrete and can get a bit cold in the rainy season, but we’ve got some mats down to make it better. It’s a simple setup where we focus on the practical side of things, like keeping the shelves stocked and making sure the delivery rickshaws can get in and out of the driveway safely.
