SLV Communication

Down in Kengeri GIDC Estate 847/83, our little shop, SLV Communication, is mostly where people come when their phones act up or they need a quick recharge. It's an industrial area, so we get a lot of workers stopping by during their lunch breaks or right after they finish their shifts. The space is small, mostly taken up by the glass counter and some stools for people to sit while they wait for a photocopy or a printout. Sometimes the internet is slow, which is annoying for everyone, but we manage. We handle a lot of small things, like fixing broken screens, selling chargers, or helping someone figure out why their SIM card isn't working. It gets pretty loud around here with the factories nearby, and there’s always dust coming in from the main road. We keep a fan going all day to stay cool. It’s not the most glamorous work, sitting behind a desk and looking at tiny phone parts, but it keeps us busy. My cousin helps out in the afternoons when the rush starts. We’ve seen the area change a lot over the years, with new buildings going up, but the shop stays pretty much the same. We have a regular routine of opening up early and cleaning the display cases before the first customer walks in. It’s a decent living and we like talking to the different people who pass through the estate every day looking for a quick fix for their tech.
