Our office is on the 5th floor of the South Block in the Manipal Centre, which is at No. 47 Dickenson Road. It’s a well-known building in the area, and being on the 5th floor gives us a decent view of the traffic down on the street. We focus on roofing solutions, though our office is more about the planning and the sales side of things rather than the actual hammers and nails. We have different samples of roofing sheets and materials leaning against the walls and sitting on the tables. It’s not a very big space, but it’s enough for us to meet with contractors and building owners who want to talk about their roofs. The elevators in the Manipal Centre can be a bit slow during the lunch hour, so we’ve learned to plan around that. We spend a lot of time on the computer looking at designs or on the phone talking to suppliers. It’s a professional enough environment, but we don't bother with suits or anything like that. We are practical people and we want the roofs we provide to be practical too. Dickenson Road is always busy, so there is a constant hum of engines and horns from below. We have been in this spot for a while and it’s a convenient place for people to drop by and see the materials for themselves.
