Six Nine Mobile Shop

Down here in Manjunath Nagar 87/1, we have got this mobile shop that is basically become a hub for the local guys. We sell phones, sure, but a lot of what we do is just helping people get their SIM cards working or putting on a fresh screen protector without bubbles. It is a small shop, so if three people come in at once, it feels crowded. We have stools for people to sit on while they wait for their data to transfer or for a quick repair. The walls are covered in those bright packages for chargers and headphones. It is loud, it is a bit messy, and there is usually some music playing in the background from a phone we are testing. We do not have a big corporate manual on how to talk to people; we just talk like normal people do. If a phone is too old to fix, we will just tell you straight. It is better that way. Manjunath Nagar is a lively spot, and being at 87/1 puts us right in the middle of the daily commute for many. We see the same faces every morning when we are rolling up the shutter. It is a lot of work keeping up with all the new models coming out every month, but we try to keep the basics in stock. It is just a regular neighborhood shop where you can get your phone sorted without any fancy talk or waiting in long lines.
