Sivapriya Exim Pvt. Ltd. is located in our own building called ‘Sivapriya’ on 6th Avenue in Anna Nagar. Plot No. 1721 is where we spend most of our waking hours. Anna Nagar is a nice area, though it can get quite congested with all the cars and shoppers nearby. Our building is a bit older, with plenty of character and maybe a few too many files stacked in the corners. We handle a lot of export and import stuff, which means a lot of coordination and phone calls at odd hours. It’s not always a smooth process, and there are often delays that we have to manage. We have a small staff who sit in the front office, and there’s always someone coming or going with documents. We don't have a corporate lobby with a receptionist. Usually, if you walk in, you just talk to whoever is closest to the door. We keep a few potted plants by the window to brighten things up, but otherwise, it’s a very functional space. We’ve been doing this for a long time now. We know the routines of the ports and the customs offices pretty well. It’s a lot of detail-oriented work that can be tiring, but it’s what we know. We aren't a huge corporation; we're just a local business trying to do our part and keep the business running. It’s a busy life, but we wouldn't have it any other way. Working here on 6th Avenue feels right for us.
