Sitara Steel

Sitara Steel is located at No. 6 on B Oosman Khan Road. We are right in the middle of the Kalasipalyam New Extension, specifically near NR Road and the Bamboo Bazaar. If you have ever been to Bamboo Bazaar, you know how crowded and lively it can be. There are always people moving things, and the smell of wood and metal is everywhere. Our shop is a bit small for the amount of steel we try to keep, but we make it work by stacking things carefully. It is an old part of the city, so the streets are narrow and can be a bit of a headache for the delivery trucks. We have to be very careful with the timing of our shipments so we don't block the road too much. Inside, it is mostly racks of steel and a small space for us to sit and do the math. We don't have any fancy technology or decorations. It’s just a place where business happens in a very traditional way. We know the other traders on Oosman Khan Road and we often help each other out when someone is short on something. It’s a tight-knit community of workers and sellers. We spend our days dealing with the noise and the heat, just like everyone else around here. It is hard work, but it is what we know. We are just simple people doing our jobs in a busy market.
