Silicon Micro Systems

We are located over in Arkere Village, right off Bannergatta Road. Silicon Micro Systems sits in Flat 001 of the Spring Leaf Apartment. Being on the ground floor makes it a lot easier for people to drop off their heavy desktop towers without having to deal with the stairs. Nanjappa Layout is a pretty decent spot, though the traffic on the main road can be a nightmare during peak hours. Inside, it’s mostly just us and a lot of hardware. We’ve been at this for a while, so the place is full of spare parts we’ve collected over the years. You can usually hear the hum of cooling fans as soon as you walk in. We don't have a big reception desk or anything. You just come in, find someone at a bench, and tell them what's wrong with your machine. It’s very informal. Sometimes it gets a bit crowded when we have three or four big projects going at once. We handle a mix of local home users and some small businesses nearby. The light in the morning is quite nice in the front room, which helps when you are trying to solder tiny connections. We usually stay late if there is a lot to catch up on. It’s just how things work when you’re running a small operation like this. We don't have a lot of bells and whistles, just a solid place to get things fixed.
