Our office is at 218 Bannerghatta. The company is called Advanced Microdevices Pvt Ltd. It sounds like a big name, but we’re just a group of people working on technical components. The building is tucked away a bit, so you have to look for the number 218. Inside, it’s mostly desks, computers, and some testing equipment. We deal with small parts that go into larger machines. It’s quiet work most of the time, just the sound of typing or someone testing a circuit. We’ve been at this location for some time now. Bannerghatta is always crowded, so getting to work is a bit of a chore. We usually bring our lunch from home and eat together in the small break area. It’s not a fancy corporate office with glass walls; it’s more practical than that. We focus on getting the specifications right for whatever we’re building that day. Sometimes a shipment gets delayed and we have to rearrange our schedule. We have some filing cabinets that are overstuffed with old manuals. We just go about our business and try to keep things organized. It’s a lot of technical detail, which can be tiring, but it’s what we do. We leave around six most evenings. It’s just a regular workplace where we try to do a good job with the microdevices we handle. We don't have many meetings, we just get on with the daily tasks.
