Muktha Control Engineers

Peenya is one of those places that never really sleeps. It’s always buzzing with the sound of machinery and trucks. Our shed, Muktha Control Engineers, is right in the thick of it at V-62 5th Main, 2nd Stage. It’s a simple brick and metal building. Inside, we have long benches where we build control panels. There are spools of wire in every color hanging on the walls. It’s a bit of a maze if you don't know where you’re going. We don't have air conditioning, so we keep the big shutters open. The dust from the road gets on everything, but we wipe it down before anything goes out. Most of the guys here have been working with circuits since they were teenagers. We don't use manuals much anymore because we know the diagrams by heart. It’s not a fancy corporate environment. We wear work clothes that are stained with solder and grease. Sometimes we have to stay late to finish a panel for a customer who’s in a hurry. We don't make a big deal out of it; we just do it. The lunch break is usually just sitting on some crates outside and talking about the news. It’s a hard-working place, and we’re just part of the Peenya crowd. We keep the lights on and the wires connected, day after day, without any fuss.
