Siddeshwaraswamy Frame Works is tucked away in Jayanagar 4th Block on 27th Cross. If you know this part of Bangalore, you know how busy the 10th A Main can get. Our shop is small but we pack a lot into it. There is always wood dust on the floor and scraps of mat board lying around. It’s just how a framing place looks when work is actually happening. We spend our hours measuring, cutting, and pinning things together. People bring in all sorts of stuff, from old family photos to new paintings. We’ve been at No.62 for quite some time now. The street has changed a lot but we’re still here doing the same thing. It’s quiet in the early mornings before the shops really open up. That’s usually when we get the most done. Then the traffic picks up and the noise from the road starts. We don't have a flashy storefront. It’s just a place where we work with our hands. Sometimes the wood shipments are late or a piece of glass breaks, and we have to start over. It’s part of the job. Most of our neighbors are also local businesses, so we all know each other. We don’t really do fancy ads. People just find us by walking past or hearing about us from someone else. It's a steady life here in the heart of Jayanagar.
