Shrirang Kisanlal Sarda

Our place is in the Peenya Industrial Area. If you know Bangalore, you know Peenya is massive and always busy. Finding Shrirang Kisanlal Sarda can be a bit of a challenge because all the buildings start to look the same after a while. We are surrounded by workshops, casting units, and lots of heavy machinery. The air is always thick with the sound of grinding and the smell of metal. Our building is a solid, no-nonsense structure. We don't have any glass walls or air-conditioned lobbies. It’s a place for work, and that’s what we do. Inside, it’s mostly open space with machines and crates. We’ve been here for quite some time, so we know the rhythm of the industrial estate. The trucks start lining up early in the morning, and the workers are always on the move. We have a small corner for the office stuff, but most of the action happens on the floor. It’s dusty and loud, but it’s home to us. We have our tea from the same vendor who has been sitting at the corner for twenty years. There’s no pretending to be something we aren't. We just take the orders, process them, and get them out the door. It’s hard work, but it’s what keeps us going. We finish up when the work is done and not before.
