Our office is on the 3rd Floor at 1132, right above the VGP Hall in the 2nd Stage of Indira Nagar, Kadiakui. Shriram Transport Finance Co Ltd is a busy place where people come to sort out their vehicle paperwork and loans. The lift in the building is a bit small and slow, so many of us just end up taking the stairs. Once you get inside, it is a typical office setup with several rows of desks and a lot of filing cabinets. We deal with a huge amount of paper every day. There is always a line of people waiting to speak with someone about their transport business. It can get pretty loud with all the conversations going on at once. We do not have fancy decor or a big lobby. It is just a place where work happens. The view from the third floor is mostly just the tops of trees and the roofs of other buildings in Indira Nagar. We spend our days checking documents and talking to drivers and truck owners. Sometimes the computers go slow and we have to wait, which can be frustrating for everyone. The staff has been here for years and they know the routines well. We just try to get through the daily pile of files as efficiently as possible. It is a straightforward office job that keeps the transport industry moving along in our own small way.
