Shree Vani Metals

Shree Vani Metals operates out of 19 Sultanpet, tucked away in the Safe Garden Society within the CSC Plaza. Sultanpet is always a very busy and crowded part of town, and our workspace in the plaza is no different. We spend the majority of our time handling different types of metal pieces and various sheets of material. It can get extremely noisy when we are shifting stock or if we have to cut a piece to a specific size for someone. The plaza is full of many other small businesses, so there is a lot of shouting and the sound of carts moving in the corridors. We have a simple desk where we manage our billing and a large amount of floor space dedicated to our metal inventory. This is not the cleanest kind of work, and your hands are usually covered in some grime by the time the day ends. I have been in this trade for many years, and it's become a daily habit. We don't use any websites or fancy technology, as we prefer to talk to people face to face in the shop. Working with metal requires us to be quite precise with the weights, so we still use our old scales. In the afternoons, the sun hits the building and makes it quite warm inside, but we just keep the fans going. It's steady, practical work that keeps us occupied from the morning until we close up for the night.
