Shree Lakshmi Foundry

Shree Lakshmi Foundry is tucked away in the MIDC area, specifically at 3394 Vijaya Nagar J Block. We are right on Indrayani Nagar Road. Being in an industrial zone like this means it’s always loud and there’s always something moving. The foundry is a hot place, especially when the furnaces are running. We deal with metal and molds all day long. It’s heavy work and the floor is usually covered in sand and dust, but that’s the nature of a foundry. We’ve been in this J Block spot for a good while. The building isn't much to look at from the outside, just a big industrial shed really. Inside, it’s a different story with all the machinery and the smell of molten metal. We don’t have fancy offices or air conditioning in the workspace. We just wear our gear and get on with the casting. Indrayani Nagar Road gets a lot of trucks coming and going, so there’s always a bit of a buzz outside. Our team is small, mostly guys who have been doing this for years and know the heat. We don't put out brochures or anything. Most of our work comes from other factories nearby that need parts. It’s a gritty, honest way to make a living. We start early to beat the worst of the midday heat, and we stay until the last pour is done. The work is hard, but we are used to it.
