Shree Krishna Upahar

We are located in the 5th Block of Koramangala, right on the 80 Feet Road. It’s a very busy part of Bangalore, as anyone who lives here knows. Our building is number 546, near the Koramangala Residency on the Peripheral Road. It’s a basic South Indian style eatery, or what people call an upahar. We have been here for a while, watching the area grow and change around us. The traffic outside is almost constant, but people still find their way in for a quick bite. We don't have air conditioning or fancy interiors, just some sturdy tables and a counter where you order. It gets very packed in the mornings with people heading to work. We try to keep the service fast so nobody is late. The kitchen is always on the go, making the usual items like idli and dosa. Sometimes the floor gets a bit wet when it rains outside, but we try to mop it up quickly. It’s not a place for a long, quiet dinner; it’s more of a functional spot for the neighborhood. We know the regular faces who come in every day for their coffee and breakfast. We don’t do any big promotions or anything. We just stay open and do the work. It’s a simple life running a place in Koramangala. There is always noise from the 80 Feet Road, but that is just part of being in this city. We just keep our heads down.
