Shree Ambe Food Products

Our place, Shree Ambe Food Products, is tucked away in Hoskote Kavasji Nagar. If you are looking for us, we are on Juni Sadak, right near Adajan Road 43B-1. It is a bit of a maze around here with all the small streets and the local traffic. We spend our days making different food items, mostly snacks and things that go into packages for people to eat. It is a lot of prep work, peeling, cutting, and cooking in big batches. The kitchen gets really hot in the afternoons, especially during the summer months when there isn't much of a breeze. We have a small group of workers from the local neighborhood who come in every day to help out. We don't have a big corporate structure or anything like that. It’s more like a big family working in a big kitchen. We use the same recipes we’ve had for a long time. Sometimes we run out of ingredients because the delivery truck got stuck, and we have to make do with what we have. The floors are concrete and we have big stainless steel tables everywhere for the prep work. It’s not a place for visitors really, just a place where the actual work happens. We focus on getting the flavors right. People in Hoskote know us for being around. We don’t do much advertising; word of mouth usually does the job. It is just a humble food business.
