Basaveswaranagar is one of those parts of Bangalore that still feels like the old city. We are on the 4th A Main in the 3rd block, 3rd stage. It’s a residential area mostly, so you hear a lot of regular neighborhood noises. Number 180 is a decent building, nothing too flashy on the outside. We have a small space here where the sun comes in really bright in the morning. Sometimes we have to pin up newspapers on the glass because the blinds are broken. It’s a bit of a walk from the main bus stop, but the trees make it a nice stroll if it isn't too hot out. The office itself is just a few rooms with tiled floors that stay cold even in the summer. We have a small corner for the kettle and some biscuits. We don't have a big team or a fancy reception desk. It’s just us sitting at our stations, usually with the radio playing quietly in the background. The 560079 area is nice because you can actually find a place to park a car if you need to, which is rare in this city. The neighbors know us by now, and the local stationery shop guy always gives us a discount on pens. It’s a plain, simple life here at the office. We don't spend much time worrying about how things look. The paint is peeling a little near the ceiling, and the door handle rattles, but it serves its purpose for us well enough.
