You can find Hi-life Furniture at the Shk Complex on Siddhapura Varthur Main Road. We are right near the D-Mart, which is a big help when we’re trying to give people directions. The shop is usually pretty full of stuff. We have beds, sofas, and dining tables crowded into the space, so sometimes you have to squeeze past things to see everything. It’s a busy road outside, and there’s always the sound of horns and traffic. We don’t have a fancy showroom with air conditioning and soft music. It’s just a regular shop where we keep the inventory and talk to customers who walk in. Most of the people who work here live nearby. We’ve been at this spot for a while and we’ve seen the neighborhood change as more people move into the area. We don't do a lot of advertising. People mostly see our sign while they’re on their way to buy groceries at the supermarket next door. The furniture we have is practical for regular homes. We don’t use a lot of fancy sales talk. If someone likes a wardrobe, we show them how the doors swing and tell them the price. It’s a straightforward way to run a business. We open the shutters in the morning and stay open until the evening rush on Varthur Main Road dies down a bit. It’s a simple, local operation and we like it that way.
