Shivashakthi Precision Works

Shivashakthi Precision Works is located at number 48 on the 2nd Main in Kamakshi Palya. It is an industrial area, so there is always the sound of cutting and grinding in the air. We started this place because we liked working with our hands and fixing mechanical things. We have a few lathes and some drilling machines that stay busy most of the day. The floor usually has a bit of metal shavings on it no matter how much we sweep. It is just the nature of the work. We take on small jobs mostly, things that need a bit of precision that you can't get with regular tools. A lot of local guys bring in parts from their cars or factory machines that have worn out. We try to make them like new again. It is greasy work and our hands are usually stained with oil by the end of the day. The shop isn't much to look at from the outside, just a metal shutter and a small sign. We don't have a fancy office for meetings; we usually just talk to customers right there on the shop floor. Sometimes the power goes out and we have to wait around for it to come back so we can finish a job. We just take things as they come and try to do a solid job for everyone who walks in.
