Yuken India Ltd.

Down in the Doddanekundi Industrial Area, things stay pretty loud and busy all day long. Our place, Yuken India Ltd., is located at No 16-C in the II Phase. If you’ve ever walked around Mahadevapura in Bangalore, you know how much dust and activity there is with all these factories and warehouses lined up. We have been sitting in this spot for a good bit of time now. The building is a typical industrial setup with high ceilings and the smell of metal and oil in the air. We spend most of our hours looking at machines and making sure things are moving like they should. It’s not a quiet office job. We wear heavy shoes and deal with the heat that comes from the shop floor. Bangalore weather helps a bit, but inside the factory, it stays warm. The staff here mostly comes from the nearby areas, so we have a good mix of people who have been with us for years. We eat lunch together in the small break area and talk about the weekend or the traffic on the way in. It’s a straightforward way to make a living. No one here uses big words or tries to act like we are changing the world. We just make parts and handle orders. It’s honest work that keeps us occupied from Monday to Saturday. Sometimes things break and we fix them. That’s about it for what goes on here.
