Shiva Events

The Shiva Events place is out on Jp Nagar Solapur Road. If you know the area, it’s not hard to find us. We deal with events, which basically means we spend our time talking to vendors and making sure chairs and tents show up on time. It is a lot more manual work than people think. We are often out of the office more than we are in it, but the office is where the planning happens. It’s a bit messy with flyers, samples, and notebooks everywhere. We aren't the type to have a sleek, modern office. It’s more of a workspace where we get things done. We’ve been doing this for several years now, starting out small and just handling local stuff. Now we take on whatever comes our way on this side of town. Solapur Road can get pretty congested, so we spend a lot of time in traffic moving gear around. It’s part of the job. We don't have any fancy slogans or anything. We just try to make sure that when someone asks us to help with a function, we actually show up and do what we said we would. It’s a lot of long hours and physical labor. Sometimes we are tired, but seeing a setup come together is okay. We just keep moving from one job to the next. It’s a humble business, but it keeps us very busy all through the year.
