Shiv Shakthi Telecommunication

If you’ve ever been to Sadar Patrappa Road, you know how intense it can get with all the electronics and people rushing around. We are right there at number 4. Shiv Shakthi Telecommunication isn’t a very big shop; it’s actually quite narrow. We have glass counters filled with all sorts of things—mostly cables, small parts for phones, and those scratch cards for mobile recharges. It gets pretty hot in here during the summer because the shop is small and the street is packed. We spend most of our day talking to people who are looking for a bargain or trying to get their old phone to turn back on. We don't have a uniform or a formal way of doing things. I usually just wear whatever is comfortable for the weather. Sometimes we stay open a bit later if there are customers still wandering the street. The area is famous for gadgets, so we have to keep up with what’s new, even if we don't always like it. There’s always someone shouting outside or a bike horn honking, so it’s never quiet. We’ve had this spot for a while now and we know the other shopkeepers around us. We borrow change from each other or share a pot of coffee when it's slow. It’s a tight-knit community on this road. We aren't doing anything special, just helping folks with their basic communication needs and making sure they leave with what they were looking for.
