Shekar Leathers

We're located right on No. 22 5th Cross Pipline Road, which isn't the easiest place to find parking sometimes. Shekar Leathers has been here for a good bit now. The smell of leather hits you as soon as you walk in the door. It’s a lot of hard work, honestly. We spend most of our time cutting and checking the material for any flaws. The workshop is in the back, and it gets pretty loud when the heavy machines are going. We started this because we knew the trade and had a bit of extra space to use. It’s not a big showroom or anything like that. Just some benches, tools, and rolls of hide everywhere you look. Sometimes the floor is completely covered in scraps by the end of the day. We try to sweep up before heading home to see our families. My brother usually handles the heavy lifting while I take care of the people coming in and out. We don't have a website or anything like that. If you want to see what we have, you just have to come by the shop and talk to us. The neighborhood is mostly families and other small workshops. We like it here even if the road gets dusty in the hot summer months. It’s just a honest way to make a living. We don’t try to be anything we’re not. Just a small leather spot on the pipeline road doing what we know how to do for the people who stop by.
