Goodwill Leather

At Goodwill Leather, we spend most of our time working with hides and tools. Our workshop is at No. 9 in the Sakamma Layout, just off Hennur Main Road. It’s a bit of a tucked-away spot in Lingarajapuram, so you might miss it if you aren't looking. The space is filled with the smell of leather and various oils we use. It’s definitely not a clean office job. We have scraps of material on the floor and heavy sewing machines that make a lot of noise. We make different types of leather goods, mostly just the things people need for everyday use. We’ve been in Lingarajapura for a while and the neighbors know us by the sound of the hammers. It’s a small operation, just a few of us who know how to handle the material. Leather is a tricky thing to work with because every piece is a bit different. You have to look for the marks and the grain. We don’t have a big showroom or anything like that. People usually just find us by word of mouth or see the sign on Hennur Main Road. It’s honest work and it keeps us busy from morning until evening. We aren't interested in being a big brand, we just like making stuff that lasts. If you come by, you’ll probably find us covered in dust and working on a new batch of orders.
