Ostrich India

Ostrich India is run out of a place at 108 Kristal Ruby, which is near the Belandur Gate on Sarjapur Road. This is in Bangalore, and if you know Sarjapur Road, you know how the traffic can be a real headache most days. The office is actually part of the space with Varda Shyam Sunder. It feels more like a home than a corporate office because it’s in a residential building. We have a few desks set up and some filing cabinets that are starting to get a bit full. Most of our work is done on laptops, sitting around and discussing what needs to get done for the day. We don’t have a big sign outside or a lobby with a receptionist. It’s just us working in a quiet room while the sounds of the city carry on outside. Sometimes we have to run out to get supplies or meet someone nearby, and we always complain about the construction going on in the street. The weather in Bangalore is usually nice, so we leave the windows open when it’s not too dusty. We aren't trying to be the biggest company in the world; we are just a small team trying to stay organized and keep our records in order. It’s a very simple way of working, without any of the fancy perks you hear about in the big tech parks. We just do our bit and go home when the work is finished.
