We are over here at number 481 in Patil Baug, right in the Daulat Nagar area of Koramangala. It is a busy spot. Most of the people staying with us are youngsters working in the nearby offices or students who need a place to sleep and eat. We’ve been running this for a few years now. The building is a bit old, but we keep it tidy enough. You can see the gate from the main road. It gets quite noisy in the evenings when everyone comes back from work. We have a small kitchen where the morning tea is made. Sometimes the water pressure is a bit low on the third floor, but we fix it when people complain. It’s just how things are here. The neighbors are mostly families who have lived in Koramangala forever. We try not to let the boys make too much noise at night. The rooms have basic beds and some cupboards. Nothing fancy at all. If you walk down the street, you find all the tea shops and some small grocery stores. It’s a convenient place if you don't want to spend too much on rent. We spend a lot of time cleaning the common areas. Sometimes the rain makes the street muddy, so we have to sweep the entrance twice a day. It is a simple life running a PG. We see a lot of people come and go every year.
