Sharoff Steel Traders

Sharoff Steel Traders is found at 67/B in the New Timberyard Layout, just off Mysore Road. This area is known for heavy materials, so we fit right in with all the steel we keep on site. The layout is mostly filled with big trucks and stacks of wood or metal. Our yard is usually a bit of a mess with different lengths of steel beams and pipes piled up. It is a very physical job here, moving heavy loads and getting them onto the lorries for delivery. The ground is mostly dirt and gravel, which gets muddy when it rains. We have a small cabin that serves as our office where we handle the bills and talk to the drivers. There is no air conditioning, just a big fan that moves the dust around. You can hear the cranes and the clanging of metal all day long. We wear heavy boots and gloves because the steel can be sharp and cold. It is a straightforward business where we buy and sell based on what people need for their construction projects. The New Timberyard Layout is a maze of similar looking spots, but we have been at this number for years. We don't have a website or anything complex; people just know we are here and they call or drive in. We just keep our heads down and do the work, making sure every load is securely packed.
