Sharma Road Carriers

We are located over in Virgo Nagar on the Old Madras Road. If you know where Bengal Lamps used to be, we are right across from there. It is a busy spot near the Budegere Cross where the trucks are always moving. Dust usually fills up our yard along with the sound of engines idling. Sharma Road Carriers has been operating out of this area for years. We handle all sorts of loads, mostly heavy stuff that needs to go across the state. The office is just a small cabin where we keep all the manifests and paperwork. It gets quite hot in the afternoons under the tin roof. Drivers spend a lot of time out on the road, so we don't see them as much as we hear from them over the phone. They tell us about the traffic jams and the rain on the highway. We try to keep the schedules moving but sometimes things get delayed at the loading docks. That is just how the transport business goes. There is always something needing to be moved from one place to another. We have a few regular guys who help with the loading when the trucks come in. It is hard work and nobody wears a suit here. We just focus on getting the trucks loaded up and sent out on time. The tea stall nearby is where most of our deals get talked about anyway.
