Sharks Events

Our place is over in Malleshwaram, specifically Sector 49 B 41307. It’s a quiet enough area most mornings before the shops really get going. Sharks Events is basically just us working through piles of equipment lists and seating charts. If you walk past, you’ll probably see a couple of us moving boxes or testing out some lights. We aren't big on those fancy corporate presentations. We’d rather just talk about what needs to be done for the next party or show. There’s a lot of coffee involved, mostly because the hours get a bit strange when there’s a big event coming up. Malleshwaram has changed a lot, but this bit feels the same. We have a lot of stuff stored in the back, cables and speakers mostly. It gets a bit dusty. We spend a lot of time checking if everything works before it goes out. It’s not a glamorous job, despite what people think about events. It's mostly logistics and making sure people have a place to sit. Sometimes we forget to eat lunch until four in the afternoon because we're busy arguing over where a stage should go. We're just a local crew doing our thing. The building isn't the easiest to find if you aren't looking for the number 41307, but we’ve been here long enough that people usually find us. It’s a decent spot to work from and we have our routine down now. There is always more gear to clean or another list to check.
