Shariff Telecom

At Shariff Telecom, we are located at Gandhi Nagar 11Th A Cross, 4Th Main Road 28. It’s a bit of a tucked-away spot, but people find us easily enough. We’ve been in this neighborhood for years now. The shop is narrow, so if three people come in at once, it feels very full. We mostly do mobile recharges and sell basic accessories like earphones and back covers. A lot of the work is just small stuff, like helping someone change their phone settings or cutting a SIM card to fit a new slot. My hands are always a bit dirty from working on the hardware. We have a glass counter that we have to wipe down all the time because of all the fingerprints. Sometimes we run out of the popular items and have to tell people to come back next week. It’s a bit annoying for them, but we do our best. The lights inside are a bit bright, but they help me see the tiny parts inside the phones. We have a small radio that plays music in the background, mostly old songs. It helps pass the time when things are slow. We don't really have a big staff, just a couple of us who take turns. We know the milkman and the newspaper guy who pass by every morning. It’s a quiet life, really. We just keep the shop running and help whoever walks through the door at number 28.
