Sharan Industries

Sharan Industries is based in Peenya Industrial Estate, specifically at C-311 on the 9th Cross in the 1st Stage. Anyone who knows Bangalore knows that Peenya is a massive place for manufacturing. Our spot is just one of many, but we’ve carved out our own little corner here. We do industrial work, mostly making parts or components that other businesses need. The building is a standard industrial shed. It’s functional and doesn't have any unnecessary frills. We have our lathes and milling machines set up to maximize the space we have. It can get pretty loud when everyone is working at once. We don't really have a team of people to handle public relations or anything like that. It’s just us and a few workers who know how to handle the equipment. We keep a pot of coffee in the corner and try to stay on top of the orders that come in. Some weeks are frantic with deadlines, while others are a bit more relaxed. We like being in Peenya because everything we need, from raw materials to tool sharpening, is just a few streets away. It’s a good community of makers. We don't pretend to be a global giant. We are just a local industry doing our job every day. The tea stall at the corner of the 9th cross is where we usually end up talking shop with the other workers. It’s a good way to stay informed about what is happening.
