The morning starts early here because of the traffic. You can hear the conductors shouting sometimes. We provide basic stuff like a mattress and a place to keep your clothes. There is no elevator, so you have to walk the stairs. It’s good for your legs anyway. We handle the bills and make sure the trash is picked up by the city workers. It’s a normal life here. Sharadha Bhavan is situated right behind the Jayanagar bus stop. It's a handy location for people who need to commute every day. We don't have a website or anything like that. People just see the board and come in to ask for a room. We have shared toilets and a common area for washing clothes. It can get a bit crowded in the mornings when everyone is getting ready for work. We try to keep the peace and make sure nobody is too loud late at night. The rent is collected every month and we keep a simple book for the accounts. Most of the people staying here are young guys working their first jobs in the city. We have seen many groups come and go over the years. Some of them still call us sometimes. It is just a basic place to stay, nothing more than that. We are around most of the day if anyone needs anything fixed or has a question about the area. The building is older but okay. There is a kitchen where some cooking happens. Jayanagar is a busy spot.
