Sharad Industries

Our workshop is tucked away in the Malad Industrial Co-op Society, specifically at A/22 on the first floor. If you know the Ramchandra Extension Lane in Malad West, you know how tight those roads can get with all the deliveries and rickshaws buzzing around. We’ve been operating out of this space for a long time, and it definitely shows. The walls have some scuffs, and the floor is stained from the various materials we use every day. It’s a bit of a maze getting up to the first floor with all the crates sitting in the hallways, but we make it work. Usually, you can hear our machines running long before you actually walk through the door. It’s a small team here, just a handful of us who know each machine’s quirks and how to fix them when they get stubborn. We spend most of our mornings checking the schedules and getting the raw materials ready for whatever’s on the list that day. It gets pretty warm in the afternoons, so we usually keep the windows open, even if it means hearing the noise from the street below. We don’t have a big corporate setup or a receptionist waiting at the front. It’s just us and the work. Sometimes things get a bit hectic when a deadline is close, but we’ve always managed to get things sorted out. It’s a plain, hardworking spot in a very busy part of the city.
