Shanti Telemobile

Sardar Patrappa Road is always a mess of wires and people looking for electronics. We are at 68/2, and Shanti Telemobile is tucked in there among all the other shops. It’s a narrow building. We deal with a lot of wholesale stuff, but also people who just need a specific battery or a new case for a phone that isn't made anymore. The shelves are packed so tight that you have to be careful when you pull something out. We spend a lot of time on the phone ourselves, checking with suppliers to see if they have what we need. It’s loud and dusty because of all the construction nearby. Most of the time, the floor is covered in bubble wrap and cardboard boxes that we haven't had a chance to throw away yet. We have a small desk where we do some quick repairs, usually just switching out a battery or cleaning a charging port that got full of lint. It’s a busy atmosphere and you don't get much peace. We know most of the other shop owners on SP Road, and we help each other out when someone is short on change or needs a specific tool. It’s just a regular day of buying and selling parts. Sometimes we have to hunt through a dozen boxes just to find one specific cable someone asked for, but we usually find it eventually if they have the patience to wait for us to dig.
