Shakti Placements

We’re based out in Yelahanka at number 1191. It’s a quiet enough area compared to the city center, which we like. Shakti Placements is basically just a few of us trying to help people find jobs and helping companies find workers who actually want to work. We spend most of our day on the phone or looking at resumes on our screens. It’s not a glamorous job, but it’s what we do. The office is pretty simple—just some desks, chairs, and a lot of filing cabinets that are starting to overflow. We don’t have a fancy lobby or anything like that. People usually call us first and then come by to drop off their papers and have a quick chat. We’ve seen a lot of different people come through these doors looking for a fresh start. Sometimes it's hard when we can't find a spot for someone right away, but we keep their info on file just in case. We don't do those big fancy career fairs; we just work one-on-one with whoever walks in. The building is an older one, so it has some character, and the plumbing can be a bit temperamental sometimes in the rainy season. We’ve been in Yelahanka for a long time and know the local businesses around here pretty well. We don't have a big corporate structure, it's just a small team trying to keep things moving. We take our lunch breaks together and talk about anything except the work.
