Shakambari Hall Lalbagh Rd

Shakambari Hall is right on Lalbagh Road, specifically at No. 1 on the 3rd Cross near H Siddaiah Road. It’s a very central spot, which makes it easy for people to find us, though the parking can be a bit of a headache during big events. We’ve had all sorts of functions here over the years. Weddings, birthday parties, even some small meetings. The hall itself is a large open space that we have to clean and set up every time someone books it. We spend a lot of time moving chairs around and making sure the lights are all working properly. It’s an older building, so it has a bit of character, and maybe a few scuffs on the walls here and there from the furniture being moved. We don’t have a big marketing team; mostly people hear about us through word of mouth. My family helps out with the bookings and managing the main gate. When there’s an event, it gets very loud and busy with people coming in and out. We have to keep an eye on the trash and make sure the bathrooms are stocked. After everyone leaves, it’s just us sweeping up the flower petals or the leftover paper scraps. It’s a lot of physical work, and our backs usually ache by the end of the night. But it’s what we do. We’ve been in this neighborhood a long time and know the shopkeepers nearby. We just try to make sure the hall is ready for the next person who needs it.
