Shahina Parveen

This is the place run by Shahina Parveen over at 18/5 Ulsoor Santosh Nagar. We are located right in the Dindoshi Municipal Colony area, which is always full of life and constant noise. It is a small setup, mostly just one main room where all the daily work happens. I started this because I wanted to have something of my own near where I live. You will not find any big glass windows or shiny desks here. Instead, there are stacks of papers and maybe a few sewing supplies or household items depending on what we are focusing on that particular week. The neighbors often pop their heads in to say hello while they are out running their errands. It gets a bit hot in the afternoons, so we usually have the ceiling fan going at full speed. Dealing with the daily bustle of the colony keeps us on our toes. There is always someone shouting in the street or a bike revving its engine nearby. We do not really have a big team of employees, just a few local people who help out when things get extra busy. It is a humble way to earn a living but it feels good to be part of the local fabric of the neighborhood. We do not put on any acts for people. We just show them what we have and keep things honest. It is a bit messy sometimes, but that is just how a real workspace looks.
