Seetha Laxmi Fabricators

Seetha Laxmi Fabricators is located at 15 Yeshwantpur on L J Road. This is more of a workshop than a regular store. If you come by, you’ll mostly hear the sound of machines and the smell of hot metal. We do a lot of welding and cutting here. The floor is made of rough concrete and is usually covered in scrap metal and tools. It’s a bit of a messy place, but that’s just how fabrication work is. We have been in Yeshwantpur for quite a while now. My father started the business and we’ve kept it going in this same spot. We don't have a fancy office or a place for people to sit. Most of our customers come in with sketches or measurements for gates and window grills. We spend the whole day on our feet, wearing heavy gloves and masks. L J Road is always full of trucks and lorries, so it can be very dusty and loud. We usually have a small fan running to try and stay cool, but it doesn't do much against the heat of the welding torch. We don't have a website or any promotional flyers. Most people find us through word of mouth or by just seeing the workshop while they are driving past. We just focus on getting the metalwork done right so it lasts. It’s hard work and our clothes are always stained with oil, but we like what we do.
