School Needs

Down on Walltax Road at number 251, you’ll find our little place called School Needs. It’s a busy street, as anyone who lives around here knows. We are surrounded by all sorts of other shops, so it’s never quiet. Inside, we have stacks of notebooks, pens, and everything else a student might require. The aisles are a bit tight because we try to fit as much as we can into the space. We’ve been here long enough that we’ve seen kids grow up from primary school all the way through their exams. It’s a lot of work keeping track of what’s in stock, especially when the new school terms are about to start. That’s when things get really hectic, and the shop feels even smaller than it is. We don't have a computer system that tracks everything perfectly, so we do a lot of it by memory and manual counting. The floors are old, and the shelves are a bit mismatched, but they hold everything up just fine. Sometimes people come in just to ask for directions because Walltax Road can be confusing. We don't mind helping out when we aren't too busy. It’s a straightforward business, and we just try to keep the things people ask for on the shelves. We open early and stay until the evening rush dies down. It’s just how we run things at 251 Walltax Road.
